State of the Cities

17th Annual State of the Cities took place on Friday, October 27th.

Presented by the Berkley Area Chamber of Commerce, this annual events gives an opportunity for local government entities to report out to the community about the activities for the year. In addition the Chamber is able to honor business people and organizations that are supportive of the community. 

Bridget Mahrle was the 2017 Business Person of the year for her leadership with the Berkley Street Art Fest and the Berkley School District was honored as Business of the year for their many partnerships with the Chamber in encouraging support of local businesses. In addition, Downtown Development Authority, the Berkley Schools, the Berkley Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Mayors of Berkley and Huntington Woods gave their annual reports. This was Berkley Mayor O’Dwyer’s last State of the Cities as he retires from office.
