The people leading this Chamber forward — and why they believe every business on this corridor belongs here.
A New Chapter for the Woodward Corridor
Something is happening along the Woodward Corridor. You can feel it at Level Up, where standing-room crowds of business owners and residents find each other across city lines. You can see it in the new faces joining the Chamber from Ferndale to Beverly Hills, from Oak Park to Huntington Woods, from Pleasant Ridge to the heart of Berkley itself. You can hear it in the energy at Berkley Art Bash, Berkley Street Fest, Level Up, and State of the Cities.
The Berkley Area Chamber of Commerce is in motion — and the 2026 Board of Directors is the team driving that motion with intention.
The Chamber is executing on an active strategic growth plan: expanding its reach across the full Woodward Corridor, rebuilding and refreshing its signature events, launching new advocacy programming, developing professional development and educational opportunities for members, and deepening its investment in the community that makes all of it worth doing. This is not business as usual. This is a Chamber that knows where it is going.
"We are not just maintaining what the Chamber has always been. We are actively building what it becomes — a stronger, broader, more connected home for every business along this corridor."
— Andrew Creal, Board President
Vice President Nicole Hudson frames the why behind the what: for a small business, community is not a nice-to-have. It is the strategy itself.
"The Chamber is not a listing in a directory. It is a community — and for small businesses, being genuinely embedded in that community is not soft work. It is the work that makes everything else possible."
— Nicole Hudson, Vice President
These are the people leading the Chamber into that next chapter. We want you to know them.
