Berkley Street Fest is back and bigger than ever on Saturday, July 25, 2026 with chalk art, live music, food, and family fun. There are so many things to love about the event; we've compiled our top five reasons to attend.
Live Music
Kick back and enjoy an incredible lineup of live entertainment throughout the day! The music begins at 12:00 PM with DJ Ryan McPhee, setting the perfect festival atmosphere. From 2:00–3:00 PM, enjoy the soulful sounds of Libby DeCamp, followed by a bit of blues and jazz performed by Harper Lyon from 4:00–5:30 PM. The festival concludes with an unforgettable performance by Hynde Sight, Michigan's premier Pretenders tribute band, rocking the stage from 6:30–8:00 PM. You'll find the entertainment stage facing the big tent in the VFW parking lot on Coolidge Highway, making it the perfect place to relax, meet up with friends, and enjoy the festival atmosphere.
While you're there, stop by the Beer Garden, where individuals 21 and older can purchase a refreshing selection of beer, wine, and Cutwater canned cocktails. Grab a drink and soak in the music as you celebrate one of Berkley's great summer traditions.
Kids Zone Activities
Sponsored by Gabrielle Makowski, the Kids Zone offers free activities designed to spark creativity. Children can participate in hands-on fun by creating their own chalk artwork. Stroll over to the Robot Garage booth for added fun with LEGO robotics. It's the perfect opportunity for kids to make new memories.
Amazing Art
Don't miss your chance to watch art come to life! Talented artists will transform the streets into amazing works of art during the Chalk Art Contest. With contest categories from youth to adult, you'll have the chance to see a variety of styles and designs. Be sure to tune in for an amazing live demonstration by David Zinn, world famous artist, from 1:00–2:30 PM.
Yappy Hour Dog Zone
No festival is complete without your four-legged family members! Stop by the Yappy Hour Dog Zone, where dogs are invited to get in on the fun. Stop by the Matt Arce State Farm Insurance booth to pick up a complimentary Yappy Hour Doggie Bag while supplies last. It's the perfect way to treat your furry friend as they enjoy a day of festival fun.
Delicious Eats
From food trucks and local vendors to some of Berkley's favorite restaurants, there's something to satisfy every craving. Grab a quick bite from one of the vendors or take a break and enjoy a meal at local favorites like Casa Amado or Little Lou's Hot Chicken. It's a great way to support local businesses while enjoying everything the festival has to offer.
