What do you love most about Berkley?

We love that we can walk up to so many restaurants, shops and of course all the amazing events like Street Art Fest and Berkley Pride. Our doggos especially love to take a stroll through the neighborhood and bork at their friends.

What inspired you to start your business?

Mr. Kabob's Chicken Shawarma! No, seriously. Tara got to talking with Sam Gulli, the owner, about how hard it was to find someone to help him with social media. Brett just so happened to start Such Great Heights Marketing around that time. The rest is history! Shout out to Mr. Kabob celebrating their 20th year in business.

When you’re not working, what do you do that brings you joy?

We love listening to vinyl, going for walks, and checking out great local restaurants for our foodie site, @MIChewsBrews.

There are SO many! Right now we are digging Republica's Chicken Caprese Sammich. Flipside is always great to score a new record for our ever-growing collection. Shout out to Robyn at Sum Girls Boutique who has an "awesum" store and is very supportive of other businesses. 

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Telekinesis like Eleven in Stranger Things.

Who are the most important people or pets in your life?

Our three amazing rescues Frankie, Finny, and Ella. You can follow their adventures on Instagram, @RescuedNuggets.

Tara: Aidy Bryant

What music, artists, books, shows, movies, or activities are you into right now?

Tara: Marcus Mumford's solo album, Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson, and Top Chef.

Brett: The latest albums from bands like The National and Alvvays, and watching this up-and-coming Detroit Tigers team.

What is your favorite food?

After eating our way across the state, Brett’s favorite is Detroit-style pizza and Tara is obsessed with grilled chicken pitas.
