What do you love most about Berkley?
I love the "small town in a big city" feel of Berkley. I'm so grateful we were able to raise our three daughters in a place that reminds me of my own childhood.
What inspired you to start your business?
The Wedding Shoppe team has created an atmosphere where brides feel heard, accepted, and appreciated. Saying YES to the dress is one of the biggest moments of wedding planning. It's an unforgettable day spent with her closest friends and family, and should be remembered forever. Seeing the look on her face as she realizes she's found her perfect wedding dress is incredible. We just love being a part of the story she tells about her wedding.
When you’re not working, what do you do that brings you joy?
Although difficult with work and college schedules, I love getting all three of my daughters in the same place for dinner or a family vacation. I also love the work I do through the National Bridal Retailers Assocation and the Better Bridal Group. Helping other bridal store owners achieve their dreams through mentorship and coaching is incredibly fulfilling.

What music, artists, books, shows, movies, or activities are you into right now?
I'm loving all the new Walking Dead series spinoffs! I also have a crazy huge range of music I adore. Anything from the 40's big band era to Tori Amos to Lady Gaga. My husband, Chris, and I have been Lady Gaga's Jazz & Piano concert in Las Vegas two times; if she returns, we will see it again!
What is your favorite food?
Really? Is there such a thing as ONE? I supposed my favorite meal is an amazing Filet Mignon. Yum!
