What do you love most about Berkley?

The sense of community.

What inspired you to start your business?

A love of cheese and specialty food as well as a desire to deepen connections beyond what can be accomplished at a grocery store or restaurant.

When you’re not working, what do you do that brings you joy?

I really enjoy reading. I try not to spend all my time reading about food but a good deal of it is centered around food, wine, mezcal, etc.

What other Berkley business(es) would you like to give a shout out to and why?

I want to shout out Casa Amado. We are lucky to have a place where we can get a proper taco in the community!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Being able to weigh things just by holding them.

Who are the most important people or pets in your life?

My wife (Megan) and son (Dov). I also have to say my business partner and best friend Will Werner.

If there was a movie about you, who would play you?

Seth Rogan.

What music, artists, books, shows, movies, or activities are you into right now?

Really been into Ted Lasso, listening to a lot of Johnny Cash as of late.

What is your favorite food?

Cheese!
